Another Title Company gets caught violating the RESPA

We've posted a couple of places about how title companies have set up illegal kickback schemes with real estate agents and brokers. Well, another title company got busted.

Fidelity National was providing services for real estate agents and companies and gave a builder a $25,000 http://www2.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gifcredit line.

So, "send your business here and we'll give you stuff" is not legal in the real estate world.

The title company company agreed to pay a ~$70,000 fine and the builder that was also involved agreed to pay about $20,000.
