Brighton Michigan home values have fallen and they can't get up!

OK, the title is a joke, but the issue is real.

Brighton and Livingston County has seen a huge change in the last 18 months as far as home buying and building.

As an example of the change, about 3 years ago I was helping a buyer choose a home in the area and in their price range there were between 15 and 20 homes on the market in March.

Now in the same area there are 61 homes. Three times the inventory at about the same time of year.

Now is a good time to be looking if you want to buy a nicer home or a new home, but you really do need to be careful.
